Your college is such a major decision. Not only are you looking for the one that will give you a jump start on your career, but you are also looking for a spot where you can get connected and build up lifelong friendships. If you could use a little help with your decision, you might want to consider attending a college fair. These events typically happen twice each year: once in the fall and again in the spring. With these, you will get the chance to chat with reps and browse from a number of options. By the end, you are going to feel much more confident about your school of choice! As a Seattle senior photographer, I adore chatting with students who have had to make this decision. If you have been considering attending college fairs in Seattle, here are the two I always recommend.
550 14th Ave, Seattle, Washington 98112
PNACAC Spring College Fairs is a free event that is open to students all across the Seattle area. Hosted each year in the Seattle University Redhawk Center, this event gives you several hours to walk around and find out about your options. These events tend to get pretty big, with an anticipated student attendance of 1,000. Don’t worry, though. They have figured out ways to make the entire thing seamless! Before the date of your fair, you will register in advance. Once you are all done, you will receive a barcode that you will present to the different reps. They will scan it, and you will have more information sent over right away! You will also receive a report of all the reps you talked to throughout the day so nothing gets forgotten.
705 Pike Street, Seattle, Washington 98101
Seattle National College Fair takes place over a weekend, opening its doors on Friday and wrapping up late Saturday afternoon. This event typically takes place in the fall at the Seattle Convention Center. Not only are they going to discuss college, but you can chat with different members of the military to decide if an alternative plan might be right for you. Just like with PNACAC, you can choose to receive a barcode so you can get more information about each booth you visit. They also encourage lots of one-on-one conversations. You will get time to talk about everything from academic programs to campus life. With over 200 colleges and universities participating, you are going to have plenty of options!
If you are looking for the best way to learn more about potential colleges, be sure to add these college fairs in Seattle to your calendar! With these events, you are going to have a firsthand look behind the scenes.
