Once you start focusing on your college, grades and scores quickly become your life. And while devoting hours to studying might be pretty effective, it never hurts to have an extra bit of help. If you’re looking for one of the best ways to build up your college application, you might want to consider working with a tutor. Not only will they help you with the topics where you’re struggling, but they will also teach you tips and tricks to improve your test scores. As a Seattle senior photographer, I spend a lot of time chatting with students who have been through this very experience. Here are the centers for tutoring in Seattle that helped them find success.

Seattle Tutoring is a smaller business that was started by former students passionate about helping people find success. Their independent tutors are skilled in a variety of topics, and you’ll be able to find the one that can best help you. You can get help with math, chemistry, physics, and biology. Don’t let the name fool you. Kids With An Edge is a Seattle center that can provide tutoring assistance to students of all ages. While the program was started in person, they shifted to remote learning during the initial COVID quarantine and decided to keep it that way at the request of the parents. For ages 4-18, they offer one-on-one help with topics such as reading and math. They will help you find methods to make the lessons stick!
409 NE 70-th St, Seattle, Washington 98115
Liddane Tutoring is my favorite recommendation for Seattle students who might have neurodivergence. On top of their standard tutoring assistance, they offer executive function coaching. With their help, you can find ways to balance your tasks and improve your focus. They also offer test prep and college application assistance.
