Experience the Belongingness of The Perfect Chabad of Bellevue

Having a Chabad house where you feel as though you belong is one of the best things you can do for your family. Regardless of whether you are moving to a new area or just need a way to go deeper in your faith, your Chabad house will connect you with your community and guide you through everyday life. As a Bellevue mitzvah photographer, I’m lucky enough to get to chat with countless families who have gone through this experience themselves. Here are the Chabad of Bellevue my clients have loved.

Eastside Torah Center

16199 Northup Way, Bellevue, Washington 98008

Eastside Torah Center seeks to create a diverse group of Jewish people from across the Bellevue area. This Chabad welcomes Bellevue families of all religious and cultural backgrounds. The center remains open 365 days a year, giving people a place to turn for all their spiritual and educational needs. They have daily Shul services as well as weekly kids’ services that will help your child learn more about your traditions. The center has specialized programs that will let you connect with countless families, from their women’s Soup-er Hours to their Adult Education classes.

The center has a Hebrew school for students in kindergarten through seventh grade. These fun yet informative classes meet each Sunday morning. Synagogue membership is not required to attend. They offer a B’nei Mitzvah program for two years that will prepare your child for their celebration. They have private tutoring options, and your child will be able to attend special events throughout their time here.

Chabad of Downtown Bellevue

16199 Northup Way, Bellevue, Washington 98008

Chabad of Downtown Bellevue is under the umbrella of Eastside Torah Center but operates independently. The center tends to draw a younger congregation and prioritizes friendship. One of their many goals is to help you connect with other Jewish families and build up bonds that will make your journey a little happier. They have a calendar full of events that will help you find your new community.

Their Eastside Young and Jewish program was created for young Jewish adults. Through these meetings, you will dive deeper into your faith while you share a meal together. They host monthly prayer services as well as weekly classes. There are youth programs that will help your child find roots within their faith. You will find plenty of opportunities to help out the local community with their Give It Forward Together program. You can also find networking opportunities, such as their Jewish Business Network. This center serves as the ideal place to get involved with your traditions and find some lifelong friendships.
