Since 2017, Chabad of Kirkland has provided Jewish families with a space where they could feel welcome. The center was founded by Rabbi Chaim Shoul and Sarale Rivkin, a couple who wanted to bring Judaism to the greater Kirkland area. The Rivkins are both lifelong scholars with a passion for doing good within the community. Through their hard work, they have created a non-judgemental space where you can strengthen your faith. They welcome everyone regardless of their level of commitment, their background, or their philosophy.
Services
The Chabad Of Kirkland is your go-to place for observations, including the weekly Shabbat. They strive to make all of their services profound, dwelling on the significance of High Holy Days and giving you the resources to carry on the traditions within your family. This Chabad is fantastic about helping you find brand new ways to interact with your faith. They offer several classes that will teach you about Jewish philosophies. If you don’t find one that works for you, you can request a one-on-one learning opportunity where they will create lessons tailored to your questions and interests. They even have regular events at Bellevue Brewing Company called Torah on Tap. You’ll have the chance to grab a brew and chat with others about Jewish practices, theology, and philosophy.
